about this ebook

Gathering customer feedback on your prototypes doesn’t have to be some incredibly involved live interview process. With unmoderated user testing tools, you can set objectives and tasks and then ask your testers specific questions. Whether you’re on the User Testing insight platform or some other, there’s still plenty of valuable advice in this free guide to help you set up the best testing frameworks possible. What we loved:

The middle section of this ebook is packed with actionable tips for setting up tests, and other best practices for user testing. And if you’re a User Testing customer, we think this would be an excellent, detailed guide to creating, conducting, and completing user studies.

What we didn't love:

It’s a guide to “UserTesting” the platform, not “user testing” the activity. This is a piece aimed at the platform’s own users, or prospective users, so while the title remains accurate, it feels a little misleading. That middle part is broadly useful, but you’d be unlikely to get that far in.
