about this ebook

Inbound marketing is a way for the public to discover your brand naturally through valuable content that’s addressing consumer questions. It’s not overly difficult to begin implementing an inbound strategy. First make sure your website is responsive across devices. Then, one way to leverage the research portion of the customer journey is with online reviews. An effective way to collect reviews is to ask for them by text message. Finally, optimize your site for stickiness and conversion. Live chat is an especially popular option, but take advantage of any factors that encourage a visitor to stick around, explore more, and maybe develop into a true lead.

What we didn't love:

Most of the advice is stuff we already knew, but if you're just getting started with inbound marketing, this free ebook provides a (maybe halfway decent?) high-level overview.

Summary:

Chapter titles like “3 Benefits of Inbound Marketing” and “3 Inbound Marketing Strategies that Win” make this free guide feel like a few blog posts strung together in a pretty package.

Largely, that’s what it is — who’d have thought! Inbound marketing should convert leads! 🙃

But occasionally the book manages to surprise — who’d have (actually) thought that most consumers think texting makes working with a local business more convenient.
