What is the best way to manage technical difficulties during a virtual event?
True to its name, this free ebook is a guide to getting started with virtual events. If you’re looking for something that goes deep into the topic, look elsewhere. If, however, you’re looking for a starting point to planning a virtual event, this is the book for you.
Considering its target demographic (we’re assuming event planners), we were a bit surprised to see how plain the layout is. Expect page after landscape page of text with few pictures and subheads to break up your reading experience.
Parts cross the line into just-a-little-too-much-promotion (there’s a checklist highlighting Airmeet features and a few callouts throughout the text), but overall the book is more helpful than promotional. Given the up-and-coming nature of the topic (virtual events have had a more recent boom) and the consequential lack of educational material, this book falls into our “definitely maybe read this again category”.
